Congratulations to our own Closter resident and former Marine Corps Corporal John Hernandez for receiving a $2000 donation from the Closter Lions Club to support his good work of hanging flags in neighborhoods around our borough. Thank you Mr. Hernandez for making Closter a better place to live. He will need help in April hanging flags. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Councilwoman Amitai.

Another chapter in Closter history was added this morning with the Groundbreaking Ceremony of our Village School Commons Housing Project - Gracefully preserving the past while embracing and meeting the needs of today and the future.
🚦 Traffic Update – New Signal Pattern at Knickerbocker Rd & High St 🚦
Please be advised of a new traffic light pattern at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and High Street.
🔹 What’s changing?
Southbound Knickerbocker Road will now have a delayed green light, allowing northbound Knickerbocker Road traffic to proceed first.
This adjustment is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance safety at this busy intersection.
🚗 Please use caution, be patient as drivers adjust, and always obey traffic signals.
