Closter Police Department Reminds of OPERATION CONCERN Program for Senior Citizens

The Closter Police Department would like to take the time to remind our residents about one of our longstanding programs called Operation Concern.

Operation Concern is a community service available to Closter's Senior Citizens who are living alone. The program, which is strictly confidential, places the resident on a call list that requires they contact the police department daily between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. If no call is received, our communications center will call the residence. If a participant is not reached after various attempts, a patrol unit will be sent to ensure the health and welfare of the participant. This program is an opportunity to provide peace of mind to our residents and their family members.
